The Artemis

“Artemis”: the Ancient Greek goddess of the moon. Patron of the wild and the untamed.

Conceived as a sculptural object rather than a mere table, The Artemis blurs the line between furniture and artifact. A collaboration with our longtime friend and ceramicist Dora Good, it emerged from a shared fascination with her volcanic glaze,- cratered, alive with quiet depth.

Its form is monolithic in its restraint, yet the surface suggests something unearthed: ancient, lunar. As much at home in a museum as in a living space, “The Artemis” exists as a limited edition of functional sculptures,- each one singular, irreproducible, present
