del Negro Studio is a multidisciplinary design studio rooted in material integrity, sculptural form, and architectural thinking.

Everything begins with proportion, functionality, concept and a conversation between hand and material. Operating on the principle that dichotomies coexist, the studio draws inspiration from the juxtaposition of history and contemporaneity, playfulness and discipline, refinement and anomalies.

Founded by Tille del Negro, the studio focuses on multi-faceted, experiential residential and hospitality environments as well as creates one of a kind objects, custom furniture, lighting, textiles and architectural hardware.

Every piece is made locally, by hand. Each material chosen for its integrity,- not just the surface veneer of aesthetics, but how it lives. The work is tactile and leans toward the chromatically pure, not out of restraint, but because the richness is in the textures and details,- the curve of a chair leg, the raw edge of wood, the patina of brass. The studio views each object as a functional sculpture, the distinction between art and design interchangeable and blurred. A table becomes an artwork, a statue becomes a chair. Made to hold presence.

Tille photographed by Yago Diaz

Originally from Norway, Tille comes from a family of designers. Her creative path took her through London, Oslo, and Hong Kong before settling in Mallorca, where she became the Creative Director of More Decor working in close partnership with More Design Architecture.
del Negro Studio is a continuation of the philosophy she built there,
of in-house design and local craftsmanship, but with a more distilled, elevated proposal.

Her perspective is shaped by that mix of Northern clarity and Mediterranean warmth. From their factory studio in Soller the approach is both rigorous and intuitive,- defined by close attention to architecture, light, and how people really live. Whether they are working on a large-scale interior or a single piece of tableware, del Negro Studio designs with precision and presence. Their work is pared back but never minimal; refined but never remote.

Mallorca is more than just a location,- it’s a muse. The island’s nature, its forms, its rhythms find their way into the work. Sometimes it’s a ray of light hitting a leaf. An ancient olive tree’s sensual curve. Or a stranger’s funky pants at the beach. These moments become decisions,- about surface, patterns, balance, silhouette. There’s love in that kind of attention. And every piece carries it.

As a master of space, color, and light, Tille reinvents and structures environments with a poetic balance of texture, authenticity, and refinement. Her universe is vividly sensorial and richly monochromatic, with the honesty of her materials and purity of her creation evident.

Quietly powerful. Built to last. Designed to resonate.

Manifesto

Flow

A space should move,- gently, like water, or like a sheer curtain catching a breeze. We’re drawn to the in-between: the way a curve meets an angle, or how a space holds your gaze. But when your eyes do land, we hope it feels soft, natural, symbiotic. That invisible rhythm that happens when everything just… you know, works, without trying too hard

Quality over quantity

We believe in the kind of beauty that doesn’t need dressing up. A singular perfect object. A plaster wall catching a golden ray of light at sunset. We try not to overdo it,- we know simplicity is the queen of elegance. When you get it right it’s simply all you need

Vernacular Authenticity

We live and work on an island. She is our muse, our crush,- we obsess about her. Her language is formed by eons of design history, tools, regional methods, tricks passed down, sculptural forms embedded in memory. We reinterpret this familiar, investigate the classic, the kind of designs that feel like they've always been there,- that they belong

A Multi-Sensory Dialogue

Good design doesn’t just sit still,- it speaks to you. Maybe not in words, but it is tactile, it has texture, smells, even sounds. We designed our light switch so you hear a perfect little click when you turn it on. Our cabinets are lined with cedar wood. The feel of our cloud rug under your feet. We design with all the senses, hoping to make things you don’t just use,- you live with

The Tribe

We don’t do this alone. There’s a network behind every piece we make,- artisans, our transport king Javi bringing us our boxes, craftspeople, a client with a universe of their own, material experts,- each with stories, knowledge, and deep roots. We listen more than we talk. What emerges is a kind of shared authorship. It’s not ours alone; it belongs to a community

The Process Is the Product

Making by hand takes time. You can’t rush a ceramic glaze, a bone broth, or that 70 year old carpenter,- we all know he is the master and the only one that has that sculptural piece of reclaimed oak. The way we work shapes what we create,- and that process becomes part of the soul of the object

The Beauty of Age

We make pieces that get better with time. Not flashy. Not trending. Just quietly evolving,- like a stone path polished by decades of footsteps, or linen softening with each wash

Materials Matter

We use what’s close by. Materials that feel honest,- clay, stone, straw, wood. Things with texture, irregularity, a personality of their own. Sometimes they’re rough. Sometimes they surprise you. But they’re always real, and they always bring character

Passionate People

It’s simple: we care. And we want to work with people who care, too. About the details. About the ideas. About the ethics. Team Fantastico is a small team, but we’ve found that openness, humor, and dedication go a long way

The Little Things

You might not notice it at first, but it’s there. That small curve. The way a seam meets an edge. That vein in the wood. We obsess a little over these things. Not for perfection’s sake, but because we know the big picture only sings when every tiny note is in tune

Make it Sexy

Yes, a cup can have sex appeal. It’s in the proportion, the material, the way it spoons so perfectly in your hand. Not obvious. Not loud. Just a quiet kind of seduction,- the kind you feel before you realize it. It doesn’t scream for attention, but somehow, it’s the first thing you reach for every morning. Function meets beauty. Sculpture meets use
